Safety Guidelines
At GlamHaus, safety, respect, and trust are at the heart of every booking. Because GlamHaus connects clients with independent beauty professionals for at-home and mobile services, we ask all clients and service providers to follow these Safety Guidelines.
These guidelines are designed to help create a safe, respectful, and professional experience for everyone using GlamHaus.
1. About These Guidelines
GlamHaus is a technology platform that connects clients with independent beauty professionals, referred to as “Service Providers.”
GlamHaus does not directly provide beauty services. However, we are committed to supporting a safe platform experience through clear expectations, user reporting tools, account review, and safety-related policies.
By using GlamHaus, you agree to follow these Safety Guidelines, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and any other policies available through the Platform.
2. Respectful Behaviour Is Required
All users must treat each other with respect, professionalism, and courtesy.
Clients, Service Providers, and GlamHaus team members must not engage in:
- Harassment
- Threats
- Intimidation
- Discrimination
- Hate speech
- Bullying
- Inappropriate comments
- Sexual or suggestive behaviour
- Physical aggression
- Verbal abuse
- Unsafe conduct
- Pressure to move a booking or payment off the Platform
GlamHaus may suspend, restrict, or remove any account that violates these rules.
3. Client Safety Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean, respectful, and appropriate service environment.
Clients agree to:
- Provide an accurate service address.
- Be present and available at the appointment time.
- Make sure the Service Provider can safely access the service location.
- Keep the service area clean and suitable for the booked service.
- Treat the Service Provider respectfully.
- Avoid inappropriate, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour.
- Keep pets, guests, or other distractions controlled where reasonably necessary.
- Tell the Service Provider about allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, injuries, product reactions, pregnancy-related concerns, or other relevant health information before the service begins.
- Follow any reasonable safety instructions from the Service Provider.
If the service location is unsafe, inappropriate, unsanitary, or unsuitable, the Service Provider may refuse to start the appointment or may leave the appointment.
4. Service Provider Safety Responsibilities
Service Providers are expected to act professionally, respectfully, and safely during every booking.
Service Providers agree to:
- Arrive prepared for the booked service.
- Use clean, safe, and appropriate tools and products.
- Follow reasonable sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Respect the client’s home, space, and privacy.
- Communicate professionally.
- Provide only the services they are qualified and approved to offer.
- Avoid inappropriate, discriminatory, threatening, or unsafe behaviour.
- Leave the appointment if they reasonably believe the situation is unsafe.
- Report serious safety concerns to GlamHaus.
Service Providers are responsible for maintaining any required licenses, certifications, insurance, and legal authorization needed to provide their services.
5. At-Home Appointment Safety
For at-home appointments, clients should prepare a safe and suitable space for the service.
The space should be:
- Clean
- Well-lit
- Safe to access
- Free from hazards
- Appropriate for the booked service
- Comfortable enough for the Service Provider to work safely
Clients should make sure there is enough room for the Service Provider to set up tools, products, equipment, or supplies.
If the Service Provider feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or unable to provide the service properly, they may pause, cancel, or leave the appointment.
6. Allergies, Sensitivities, and Health Concerns
Beauty services may involve products, tools, adhesives, heat, chemicals, or other materials that could cause irritation, allergic reactions, sensitivity, discomfort, or dissatisfaction.
Clients are responsible for telling the Service Provider before the service begins about any:

- Pregnancy-related concerns
- Medications or treatments that may affect the service
GlamHaus does not provide medical, dermatological, therapeutic, or healthcare services. If you have medical concerns, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before booking.
7. Sickness & Contagious Illnesses
Beauty services are high-touch and involve close contact. To protect the health of our community, clients and Service Providers must not proceed with an appointment if they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness (such as the flu, COVID-19, severe colds, or contagious skin conditions).
If you are feeling unwell, you must contact your Service Provider or GlamHaus to reschedule or cancel the appointment before the service begins. Service Providers reserve the right to refuse service if a client is visibly ill or exhibiting symptoms of a contagious sickness.
8. Right to Refuse or Leave a Service
A Service Provider may refuse to begin or continue a service if they reasonably believe:
- The location is unsafe.

- The environment is unsanitary.
- Pets, guests, or others are creating safety concerns.
- The requested service is different from the booked service.
- The client has not disclosed important health, allergy, or safety information.
- The service may create a safety, health, or professional risk.
- The client asks to pay or book outside the GlamHaus Platform.
If a service cannot be completed because of client misconduct, unsafe conditions, lack of access, or failure to follow these Safety Guidelines, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show and may not be eligible for a refund.
9. Off-Platform Payments and Bookings
For everyone’s safety, all bookings and payments must stay on the GlamHaus Platform.
Clients and Service Providers must not:
- Pay or accept payment outside the Platform.
- Ask to cancel and rebook directly.
- Arrange future bookings outside GlamHaus after connecting through the Platform.
- Use cash, e-transfer, direct bank transfer, or third-party payment apps for GlamHaus-introduced services.
- Share contact information for the purpose of bypassing the Platform.
Keeping bookings on the Platform helps protect payment records, booking details, support options, safety review, and dispute resolution.
Violating this rule may result in account suspension or removal.
